Consultation on the Proposal to Establish a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) at Thetford Academy
The Inspiration Trust would like to inform you of a proposed change at Thetford Academy.
Thetford Academy - SRB Consultation Letter
The Inspiration Trust would like to invite you to give your feedback on the proposed change by:
- Completing the online response form found HERE or
- Emailing: governance@inspirationtrust.org
- Writing to: Head of Governance, Inspiration Trust, Weights & Measures Building, 28 Bethel Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1NR  (or handing in at Thetford Academy reception).
The consultation period will run from Monday 15th June 2026 until Monday 6th July 2026.
Once the consultation closes, responses will be considered carefully by the Board of Trustees. If the Trust decides to proceed, a formal application will be submitted to the Department for Education for approval before any implementation takes place.
Consultation on the Review of the Inspiration Trust’s Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) Policy
As part of Inspiration Trust’s review of its Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) Policy, we are inviting feedback from parents and carers.
RSHE is a vital part of the curriculum and supports pupils to develop positive relationships, stay safe and maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
We would welcome your views on the draft policy, which is attached along with a covering letter explaining the consultation in more detail.
You can respond to the consultation, via the online form HERE.

Please submit your response by Thursday 19 June 2026.
Your feedback will play an important role in helping to shape the final policy and ensure it reflects the needs of our school community.

The consultation regarding the proposal to change the Year 12 Published Admission Number (PAN) is now closed. The Inspiration Trust Board of Trustees will consider the consultation responses against the case for change. The determined admission arrangements for September 2026 entry will be published by 15th March 2025.
