Thetford Academy performs with Britten Sinfonia

Pupils from Thetford Academy joined forces with Thetford Grammar School, Britten Sinfonia and the Bury Friendly Orchestra to perform in the Apex in Bury St Edmunds this November. They performed a piece they had written based on Handel's Sarabande and have been rehearsing over the past few weeks.

Students have developed so much by taking this opportunity, both technically and also with their sense of musicality and performance, playing music with others is an important part of collaboration and opens further doors for students as they progress. A particular thank you goes to The Thetford Education Foundation Trust who have continued to support the academy to provide these opportunities for students.
